Weekend Camping

We will be offering onsite camping; all camping pitches are pre-pay booked online via our website and paid for using PayPal. Camping costs £40 for Friday and Saturday night or £60 for 3 nights inc. Sunday. The pitches are 8m x 8m to ensure cars can fit on camping pitches, to meet with fire safety requirements.

Entry to the campsite opens at 10.00am on Friday 14th September 2018, via Lawson Road, Blackpool, please follow the signs from the motorway rather than SATNAV to miss the residential areas. Please make other arrangements to park up away from the site if you will be arriving early.

No late arrivals after 10pm.

Guests must produce their printed booking conformation on arrival. You will be issued with a tag which is to be made visible on tent, caravan or motor home for checks and a car park pass for the weekend.  

Campers should follow the directions of the Club Volunteers who will direct them to their pitch.

Entrance will only be permitted for vehicles that have submitted a registration number at point of booking.

In the event of poor ground conditions a pitch may not be available. The Club will endeavour to advise the customer in advance should this occur but no responsibility can be accepted if this is not possible.

There are no electrical hook up points on site.

Please take a few minutes to read the important information below. Upon booking your camping pitch you agree to abide by the site rules and if found to be breaking these rules may be asked to leave.


Fire and Campsite Safety 

THE CAMPSITE IS A NO SMOKING AREA. Please smoke in the designated smoking area or outside of the fenced area away from the camping pitches.

Because of the danger of fire, open fires are not permitted on site. Barbeques may be lit provided they are raised of the ground and are in a suitable container – no wood burning.    

You will see upon arrival that camping pitches 8m x 8m have been marked out, please keep within these lines, one tent/caravan or motorhome per pitch. To meet fire regulations, we advise that you position your camp in the centre of your pitch leaving as much space as possible between yourself and your neighbour.

Only one vehicle per pitch please, parked within your pitch to keep roadways clear throughout the campsite to enable the entry and exit of emergency vehicles. Any extra vehicles will be asked to park in the Car Park. For safety reasons do not park your vehicle directly in front of your tent entrance.  No parking along the fence and please keep vehicle movement to a minimal especially during event times.

Stewarding and Traffic Management will be handled by our club volunteers.

We expect all our stewards to be treated with respect during your time on our site. 


There will be fire points situated around the site, if there is a fire please ring the bell at the fire point to alert other campers and make your way to the nearest emergency exit point. In the event of an emergency please call 999. Site address Lawson Field, Lawson Road, FY3 9TD

Dogs are welcome but please keep them on a lead and ensure you clear up using the bins provided around the field.

Please keep your speed to a minimum on the campsite to 5mph.


Noise

As the campsite is temporary and is in a residential area please keep the noise to a level which will not disturb the residents or other site users, especially between the hours of 10.30pm and 8.00am.

Generators may be used but must be turned off between 11pm to 7pm. Campers may be asked to refrain from using them if they cause a disturbance.

No motorised vehicles on site i.e. Mini motos/pit bikes etc.


Rubbish

Please be considerate when leaving the site. Please take any unwanted and broken items away with you to dispose of at home. Please collect your household rubbish in the black bag provided and when leaving place in the skip provided on the camp site. A waste water disposal unit will be available and will be clearly sign posted.


Toilets and Showers

Toilets will be available on the camp site and trackside.

The showers will be onsite, opening times to be advised.


Water

Fresh water will be available from the water point on Lawson Field which will be signed.


Security

There will be 24 hour security on site, please ensure your valuables are secure at all times, if you see anyone acting suspiciously please report this to the security staff. If you need to contact anyone during the weekend, please contact one of our volunteers or speak to our onsite security team.

You and your party’s property remain on the Campsite at your own risk. Blackpool BMX Club/Blackpool Council accepts no responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage to persons or property arising out of the use of a site or its facilities.


Refund, cancellation and amendment policy

Advance booking only.

Cancelling your booking. You cannot cancel your booking through this website, please do this directly with Blackpool BMX Club via www.blackpoolbmxclub.com.  If you cancel the booking more than 14 days before it is due to start, we will refund your fee in full. Otherwise you will have to sell your pitch privately

If you leave the site early for any reason we will keep any unused fees and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Sites with unsuitable camping conditions. If adverse circumstances, for example flooding, result in Blackpool BMX Club cancelling your booking at any time, a full refund of your deposit or unused camping fees will be made.


Accident and emergency

The nearest accident and emergency department is Victoria Hospital, Whinney Heys Rd, Blackpool FY3 8NR


Please vacate the campsite by 10.00 on Monday morning


Trade Pitch Bookings

Trade pitches are available at £60 per 3x3m. You can book as many pitches as you like but you can only book and pay online via Paypal. Non Negotiable. Please note there will be no vehicle access to the trade area during times of track use.

Factory Team Gazebo Bookings

All Factory Team gazebos booked online please £100 per 6x3m. If you require a larger area please book extra pitches. Non Negotiable.

Weekend Parking

Weekend Parking will be £6, please display your car sticker in your vehicle window at all times


Friday Gate Practice

£5 per rider. You will be able to pay at the track. Times to be confirmed.
